DCS to WEBP
- Step 1: Upload your DCS image or a batch of up to 20 files. Drag and drop them into the uploader or click to browse. Converter App handles classic DCS/EPS, including DCS 1.0 and DCS 2.0 composites. Tip: DCS is a prepress format based on color separations. If your artwork relies on external plate files or spot colors, export a composite version first (or start from PSD/TIFF) for the most predictable on-screen result.
- Step 2: Your conversion starts instantly. Use the settings below to rescale your output. Enter width and/or height; we keep the aspect ratio automatically. You can also pick a WEBP quality level to balance size and clarity. WEBP supports both lossy and lossless modes; for most images, a quality around 80–90 gives a great result with small file sizes. Note: DCS content is usually CMYK or spot color. We convert to sRGB for the web, so slight color shifts can appear when moving from print-focused files to screen.
- Step 3: Download your WEBP file. If you uploaded multiple images, we bundle all results into a single ZIP for convenience. Filenames are preserved. Need a different size or compression? Adjust the settings and convert again in seconds. Heads-up: Classic DCS does not carry true transparency. If your original relies on clipping paths, the result may appear on a white backdrop. For transparent output, start with a source that includes an alpha channel (for example, PSD or PNG).
You can upload up to 20 images at once. Large files are fine; upload and processing time will scale with size. No daily caps, just fair use in extreme cases.
