Extract the pages you need, cut a PDF into several parts or save every page as a separate file – free and without quality loss.
Upload a PDF and choose in the dialog what you want: a new PDF with selected pages (for example 1-3, 5, 8-10), several PDFs cut at the ranges you enter, or every page as a single file. The split is done with qpdf, which copies the pages without rendering them, so text, images and vector graphics stay exactly as they were.
Drop the file into the box or import it from Google Drive. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
Type page numbers and ranges such as 1-3, 5, 8-10, or select 'every page as a separate PDF'. Page numbers are checked against the real page count.
Extracted pages come as one PDF; ranges and single pages come as a ZIP with one PDF per part.
Single pages, ranges and combinations: 2, 5-7, 12-14 pulls exactly those pages, in that order, into one new file.
Enter several ranges and every range becomes its own PDF – ideal for cutting a long report into chapters.
Pages are transferred as PDF objects. Fonts stay fonts, scans keep their resolution, links and form fields on the selected pages are kept.
Most files are split in under a second. No account, no watermark, no page limit within fair use.

Every page of a PDF is a separate object that references the fonts, images and other resources it needs. Splitting therefore does not mean cutting a picture – it means creating a new PDF and copying the selected page objects together with their resources into it. Converter App uses qpdf, a well-established open-source PDF library, for this. Because the pages are transferred rather than rendered, the output is identical in quality to the source, and the whole operation usually takes well under a second.
Free, no account, no watermark. Uploads are removed after 30 minutes and results after 2 hours; the tool runs entirely on Converter App's own infrastructure. Password-protected PDFs have to be unlocked first; everything else from one page to several hundred pages is handled.
Use page numbers and ranges separated by commas, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10. Ranges are inclusive, and the pages appear in the result in the order you type them. The first page is page 1, regardless of any page labels printed in the document. If a number is larger than the page count, the tool tells you how many pages the PDF has.
Extract pages into one PDF puts all selected pages into a single new file. Split by page ranges creates one PDF per range you enter (1-4, 5-9, 10-12 gives three files) and delivers them in a ZIP. Every page as a separate PDF needs no input and produces a ZIP with one single-page PDF per page.
No. The pages are copied as they are, including fonts, images, vector graphics, links and form fields that belong to those pages. Nothing is rasterised or recompressed, which also means the tool cannot reduce the file size of a scan – use the Compress PDF tool for that.
Not directly. A PDF that asks for a password when opening is rejected with a notice. Remove the password first with the Unlock PDF tool (you need the password), then split the unlocked copy. PDFs that only restrict printing or copying are accepted.
There is no fixed page limit within fair use; documents with hundreds of pages split in a few seconds. Very large scanned PDFs just take longer to upload. The 'every page as a separate PDF' mode of a 500-page document produces a ZIP with 500 files, which is fine.
The upload travels over HTTPS and is processed on servers operated by Converter App. Uploads are deleted automatically after 30 minutes and the split files after 2 hours. No account or email is required, and nobody looks at the content.
